August 17, 200521 yr Just a query does a 2001+ exhaust fit onto a 99/2000 frame and if not what mods are required? I'm sick of repairing the muffler. Why do 2stroke trials manafactures still persist in using them when sherco has proved that theres no need for them!
August 17, 200521 yr i have got a 2000 125 model sherco. i have got all new 2001 plastics and mods. my dad had to make and weld 2 brackets (weld the bracket between the top of the rear suspension and the piece of metal starts to curve upwards towards the top of the air box we have also had to cut the airbox in half, take a bit off the airbox and then glue it back together. we wouldnt of bothered cutting the airbox in half but the exhaust wouldnt fit ill try and get some pics either this week or early next week this mod changes the look of the bike completly different but looks alot tidier and smarter if you are thinking of the convertion take youre time dont rush it and think it through before you start
