October 6, 201411 yr Can anyone help me to identify these forks which are from a B40 trials bike I got earlier in the year (Surrey area). I've stripped them to replace the seals which were shot but cannot find anything to suggest a manufacturer. Stanchions are 32mm diam and 597mm long (parallel along entire length) There were two 42mm x 32mm x 7mm seals in each fork (is it normal to have 2 seals?) I'd like to get info on what volume and sort of oil to use in them Thanks in advance for any replies.
October 6, 201411 yr Hi Vlad those forks look like ceriani`s ,they do have two seals per leg. I would put in about 200cc of 10wt oil as a starting point. All the best Alan
October 7, 201411 yr Author That's great. Thanks Alan. Any recommendations for where to get good quality seals and which makes to go for - I don't want to get shoddy budget ones and have to change them again soon! Cheers!
