How Do You Define A "classic"

Hi ross,

How about a sense of achievment in overcoming all of the listed shortcomings - oh, and incidentally, your answer to low spark at low revs yesterday - my party trick with my Ariel HT5 (fitted with correctly maintained BTH magneto) was to start it by hand - and, as a qualified electronics engineer, I preferred a reliable magneto (when correctly maintained) to unreliable electronics.........

Enjoy,

Deryk

It should be nigh on impossible to buy original parts for it,you need full engineering skills and a comprehensive workshop to have any hope of keeping it going. And if its really original the clutch should slip AND drag.Turning circle is measured in acres, ground clearance in thou.A haze of blue smoke trailing for all stinkwheels and Tiger Cubs.

And apart from having a definite female temperament,I think that about covers it...

Clutch slip & drag, first hand experience with that.
