Main reason is not the material itself, but the fact it can be made into a fine wire electrode and not melt from combustion heat. The fine wire sparks easier. I run the fine wire plugs in any 2 stroke I can buy them for: mc, lawn trimmers, chainsaws, etc. Well worth the money. kcj
