Just bought myself a 2001 gasgas250 and my boy a 2006 gasgas125 in the hope of us learning some skills. Just had our first day at Bob MacGregors Trial Accademy and hope to enter a trial or 2 at some point.

Hi Andy had a great day seems a good place, I think they may have done instruction days at some point to would be good if they started that back up so you could spend a day with an instructor.

They used to do instruction sessions on a Saturday, but not sure if that is still the case. I'd be surprised if they've stopped them as part of the purpose of the place is to encourage new riders who, obviously are going to need a bit of help and guidance. Ask Iain or Jim down there.

I was told that they did them but just got a lot of people turning up for a free days coaching never to be seen again. Going to join anyway and hopefully they start it up for new members that way they know their time is being used for members and benefiting the club.

Hi laud from Sunny Fife.

Check out the Lothian Trials Club I think there first events early next month.

Specialise in beginners/fun trials and if you turn up there's always someone on hand to show you the ropes.

If they can't get you round I'll eat my Ossa.

Really laid back, even more than us which takes some doing.

No pack drill turn up and ride,

We've lads from your area ride with us too.

Keep the faith.
