Bultaco Side Stand

Featured Replies

does anyone have a drawing of a side stand that I can use to fab one up for my 199A model

There is a whole lot of work to fab one from scratch, if you can find one from a mod 159 for sure & up not much

to adapt to your bike, maybe from earlier also not sure.

Good luck

Larry

There are replica stands for the 199a which are made from alloy for sale on that auction site, not cheap but they do look to be made properly.

I cut down a set of old Renthals! fabbed a mount & foot, welded it all up & Roberts your Fathers brother. I can take some better pics if needed.

hi mate cracking idea that's what I will do many thanks mate for the idea :hyper:

Hullo,I like that! A suggestion if I may, contact In Motion as they have the correct shouldered bolt & nut for sidestands. It will make the job a good un. My Metralla had no stand,so I made a side stand out of a bicycle handlebar. It works fine but I am very cautious of parking on a windy day. To make & weld on some brackets would entail stripping out the entire bike to get the frame upside down to do the job properly. One day,I suppose. Hope this helps,John.
