March 30, 201511 yr Hi all I was out on the sherco 290 yesterday and it was faultless all day until I hit one last rooty climb, as i landed it stalled and now won't rev unless the choke is on any ideas. I've cleaned the carb thinking it might of been a blocked jet but still bogs Thanks in advance
March 30, 201511 yr Author I've had the carb apart and all seems fine just strange that it's fine with the choke out so wondered if it was drawing air in somewhere
March 31, 201511 yr The pilot jet is really the last filter for the pilot circuit. There are two exits on the pilot circuit that have to flow.
March 31, 201511 yr Author All fixed I strip the carb and let it soak in carb cleaner then blew all the jets out again and it's runiing sweet again. Thanks for your help
April 3, 201511 yr Thanks for the feedback. One must be really carefull with the pilot jets as they are soo small and anything will block them.
