Hi all, anybody fitted a GasGas engine into a Sherco ,my sherco engine is u.s and I am able to get a GasGas engine for a reasonable cost the bottom end, crank cases look very similar any comment would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Long story short it will not fit. It could be done but the fabrication and machining needed would make it not worth even considering.

Just get the sherco engine sorted or sell the bike for spares and get a running one.

I agree with steve its a lot of work, depending on where you are may be interested in purchasing it got a project in mind that would work with your bike
