Shocks

Featured Replies

Hello

I need buy a news shocks for my tl?

which manufacturer recommendation : njb, magicals, hagon?

I mounted Falcons with alloy body and I' am very pleased with them. The shocks are light, very well set up, no problems. My personal recommendation. You can even get them with two springs per side as the original ones.

I recommend Rockshocks - reasonable price, good service, supplied to suit your weight and bike, rebuildable. Well regarded in the trialscentral community.

'Can O' worms' springs to mind!!! (no pun intended!)

I really rate The Magicals, but would be very interested in what people think of OZO shocks that In Motion are selling, Are they rebadged Betors? as rumour would have it, or completely new, from the pictures they seem to have a resemblance to The Magicals.

If your in the states , try some works performance , built to spec (literally) and completely  rebuild able , I love mine .

But Falcons work great too . Never tried Rockshocks over here .

post-14329-0-39815900-1429631950_thumb.jpgWish FOX shocks were still available!!

All American made and re-buildable, just did these this past week.

New in 1980 at $100.00, guess that would be costly now!

We have had good luck with NJB.

Had Foxshocks back in the day, wasn't impressed. If you like them, you would love Rockshocks, and all Brittish made.

OK, glad to hear from b40, we all have opinions.

I would expect shocks to have improved a little in over 3 decades ?

My comparison is slightly more valid in that I have owened and competed with both Fox and Rockshocks on the same make, model and year of bike.

To all I apologize for only wishing the Fox shocks were still available.

No knowledge of Rockshocks, and am certain they are very good.

No offense intended.

Larry

By the way made a brief search to try to learn more about Rockshocks

not smart enough to find anything.

A link would be appreciated.

Would certainly like to broaden my small mind on any new improvements.

Bob at B&J racing in tenn. can set you up with Falcons , Adrian @ lewisport can set you up with Rock shocks , or just check out works performance , do a search on google , I've got made to spec works shocks and I luv em !!!
