April 27, 201511 yr I noticed "Yamaha" besides some of the riders names in the results and wondered about that... thanks for the clarification. It sure would be nice if Yamaha did throw some weight back into the sport the way that Honda is taking a more active role.

April 27, 201511 yr Author If Yamaha and Scorpa thought so it would be surely? not as straight forward as that I'm sure? I don't think Kuroyama can develop the 2008 4 stroke scorpa much more and I think thats why ogawa is beating him now. Interesting to see if they do something different for Japan or else pull out.
April 28, 201511 yr Bet it would sell more badged as a Yamaha than badged as a scorpa When Scorpas started coming out with the Yamaha 250 two stroke motor, I went to my local Yamaha shop and told them I would like to buy one from them but it had to come badged as a Yamaha like the one I had seen photos of in Japan - so I didn't get one
