June 13, 201511 yr Has his bike got a new engine, clutch cover looks much bigger tha previous ones (although it's not got the carbon cover usually used. I know they've junked last years clutch, maybe this is what the RR will have !?
June 14, 201511 yr Author The works bikes are one offs so i wouldnt bank on it being a prototype. Photos? Take a look at the pics Andy took of Fuji riding.
June 15, 201511 yr Sorry but apart from the colour and the missing carbon protector, I don't see any difference. Maybe it's just the lighter colour and the missing protector, that make it seem bigger.
June 15, 201511 yr Might it be machined from billet rather than the standard cast item? They can make them thinner, lighter and stronger this way.
June 16, 201511 yr Might it be machined from billet rather than the standard cast item? They can make them thinner, lighter and stronger this way. Thinner AND lighter AND stronger. Wash your mouth out! Of course you are right daoff the bikes of Fuji and bou are special one offs with plenty of billet parts and have been for 10 years since Dougie was on the bikes too
June 17, 201511 yr Nigel ; That was beautiful , gave me a after work laugh . Damn heavy thick bikes ....
June 20, 201511 yr Thinner, lighter and stronger yes, but at what price? Some former colleagues used to machine aluminium alloy aircraft parts from billet or forgings, very impressive the parts were, cheap they were not.
