July 10, 201511 yr Hi guys, I was wondering what others with the same bike have done jetting wise to clean up the power delivery? I ride between 500ft - 5000, probably mostly around 2500ft. But I'll tune as needed just want to know if there is a hot setup I should know about before starting the annoying procedure of airbox removal.
July 10, 201511 yr Mine also runs very well.I fitted a low compression head insert which speed pinking and aided high revs.
July 10, 201511 yr Don't mean to hijack the thread but can I ask where you had the insert from? Also did it make much of a difference? Im sorry ...i get the most irrelevant post of the year award . I thought this was the JTG forum . sorryyyyyyyy

I would not normally expect changes needed below 3000 ft. other than airscrew adjustment. Ck to see what you have in there first! At higher altitudes, things can get a bit different, so a change to say a 48/50 pilot may be a good tradeoff for you, yet a lot of this may vary bike to bike even, and with that wide range of altitude you may have to find the balance.
July 11, 201511 yr Author I thought you'd run leaner jetting if you ride higher.. Your suggesting richer jetting at altitude which doesn't seem normal to me.
