October 4, 201510 yr Hi guys , new rider here , just got myself a beta techno 250 to learn on , was a bit of a barn find really , hadn't been run in 5 years , I picked it up Saturday morn and by lunchtime it was running . Result . Still a few bits I've gotta do to freshen it up but all in all I'm very happy . Can anyone recommend a deent bike mechanic localish to Bedfordshire ? I'm gonna do as much as I can myself but suspension and engine internals I'd rather out source . Well that's where I'm at at the mo guys , if anyone local to beds wants to hook up and ride that would be cool and look forward to hearing from you .
October 5, 201510 yr Welcome to trial bud. Bedfordshire rider here too not been going too long either. Where are you planning to ride. I joined Milton buzzard trials club and can use there practice ground 7 days a week. Worth the 20 odd quid a year. Always people to ride with at the weekends. If you Google Milton buzzard and check the links page there's a link to a local mechanic specialising in trials. Haven't used him myself bit could be worth a look.

Had a look at the pics .. Is it just rocks and banks there ? Funny you should mention Pete tombling .. I was on the phone to him earlier regarding a full service and fork overhaul .. Seemed like a cool guy .. Where in beds are you dude ?
October 5, 201510 yr I be looking at joining berko next year too. I'm junction 13 so mount farm is a 15 minute drive for me. 45 or so to berko. Rocks banks logs no woodland unfortunately but great for practice at all levels and comps.
