Ty250 Seat

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if anyone sells a fiberglass seat for later seventies TY250?  There is one available for the TY175 but haven't found one for the 250.

The standard seat is available from Sammy Miller Products which is what I use, not sure what the design you have shown is called

Try France Trial classic, he usually stocks the early TY seats with the fiberglass surround although only in yellow perhaps like the very first model.

Thanks Metisse, but my bike is a later TY and I am looking for the pictured seat that would fit the 250.  It would be like the tank/seat combo offered from Sammy Miller and others but without the tank.  Don't know why no one seems to make one for the 250.

Possible reasons:

Maybe not enough people want them.

The standard seat is much more comfortable than what you are seeking.

It would be quite easy to make a seat like the one in your photo so if someone wanted one they could easily make their own.

The TY175 is a far more popular choice for competition, so the market for them would be bigger
