October 28, 200520 yr How much fork oil per leg and recommended wt,also what is point gap and piston position before tdc?
October 30, 200520 yr remove springs from forks and fully compress,oil should be 6 inches from top. i have 10 weight oil in mine. points gap 0.015`` ignition timing 2.5 - 3.1mm BTDC hope this helps.
August 24, 20188 yr Twinshock dude- I like that response. Kind of generic info on the fork oil quantity. My forks are "generic" and I don;t know their source or history, but they do the job. 34 MM and the front hub and wheel are off of something else, but it all works fine. I just wish I knew what it was from.
