Hi I am just wondering is their an official dealer for the new Yamaha trials bike. Their new 4 stroke looks great but I never see any body riding it in Northern Ireland.

I think there's a couple of those about in Japan. As far as I am aware it's a factory special based on the long since out of production Scorpa. No doubt there's loads of lighter parts on it but the gearbox/primary drive at least must be totally different to judge from the size of the rear sprocket.

Engine is a WR 250 

 

Yamaha only races in the Japan WTC with yamaha bikes. Bike looks great, but must feel heavy with that engine.

There are plenty of yamaha dealers but this is not a production machine. Doubt it ever will be

Such a machine is ridden regularly in Lancs County trials by either Ben Hanson or his dad Peter.

There's a works yamaha in cumbria? Thats never happened before has it?
