151, 159 Head Differences

Anyone know if there are any differences between a 151 and a 159 cylinder head? My 159

has a damaged head and I can get a 151 head. Any help appreciated.

    Hi Mark. There is a lot of difference in the two heads. The 151 head has 4 barrel studs with 2 head bolts sitting front and rear whereas the 159 head has the 4 barrel studs and 4 head bolts. I think the liner on the 159 is also larger as you can bore a 159 out to take an 85mm piston where the 151 head you can only go to around 84mm. I own both and I know you can`t put a 159 barrel onto a 151 engine without a lot of work. Graham.
