November 2, 200520 yr Sorry if I've missed the blindingly obvious here, but was it not scheduled for all machines to be fourstroke in 2006? Is this still on the cards or has it been delayed?
November 2, 200520 yr Hopefully never, but I doubt there would be a WTC if they imposed it against the factories without agreement and that ain't going to happen for a while.
November 2, 200520 yr so far three replies, possibly never, hopefully never, and it might. I don't have a clue but havn't seen an official FIM statement saying one way or the other.
November 3, 200520 yr Give us the choice... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, if there is a choice it must be better for the sport.
November 3, 200520 yr Plus of course there is only one factory capable of producing a 4 stroke thats as competetive as a 2 stroke.
November 8, 200520 yr ive had a go on a montesa 4rt. i didnt like the idea of 4t but since ive been on that bike i wouldnt mind. still prefer the 2t at the end of the day.
November 19, 200520 yr Well everything that has been said for the past year or so about the likes of gas gas going 4t are all rumours. Personally i hope that wtc doesn't go 4t, especially after one particularly strong rumour that gg have made a 2t engine that produces less emissions and is much quieter that the montesa 4t. Lets have some real stories from the factories and the FIM and just get the whole rumour mill over so we can move on to our next bike!!!
