July 8, 201610 yr Have just swapped over to ajp master cyclinders on my 2013 sherco . And not getting any presser in the front brake ? What could the problem be
July 8, 201610 yr Are they second hand mastercylinders? If they are you would benifit from a seal kit. The cup seal on the piston can swell up slightly covering the hole in the mastercylinder, if they are new try back bleeding from the caliper back to the resivor using a syringe!
July 8, 201610 yr It's the only way .. You can spend hours bleeding them the normal way or 5 mins doing it through back bleeding. Good luck
July 8, 201610 yr Have you still got fluid in the caliper and hose? If so just turn the bars so m cylinder is at highest point, make sure the hose isn't higher where it crosses the number board or headlight. Then slowly pump the lever and you should get bubbles coming out of the cylinder. It shouldnt take more than 5 mins. If you can't get pressure it must be leaking at the joint. I only ever use the bleed nipple when doing rear brake.
