Hi Just fitted new points/condenser etc. Kick start is not engaging? Obviously there's something amiss with the clutch. What have I refitted wrongly? 

Have you done any work to the clutch, any adjustments, new cable, activating rod and bearing in correctly?

Hi, Not done anything but I just backed it off at the h/bar and now it's ok. Thanks for looking.

Did you refit the ignition cover with a thinner gasket or with no gasket? That would have the effect you described
