July 31, 201610 yr Does anyone know if there any wiring looms about or of a wiring loom i could cut up and re solder ,spent 2 months now trying to fix my bike just about every thing has been changed other than wiring loom and ecu been in a shop and thought it had been fixed ran fine for 2 weeks now the problems back
August 1, 201610 yr Hello there, not realy answering your question but may help. My friend (Yes I have one) Duncan Wood at East Neuk Trials has worked on loads of these. Helps Birkett at the SSDT too and knows a bit. His home number is 01333 311 744 might be worth a call.. Fingers crossed.
August 1, 201610 yr Have a look at the connections on to the fuel pump( my started to corode). Would splutter and miss fire just when you put it under load
August 1, 201610 yr Author Changed the fuel pump the connections looked ok on the wire ,mine has the same problems
August 1, 201610 yr I swapped the plug with one of a crashed car . Could not believe my luck when I saw it and it sorted the problem . Put it down to having bike on a trailer in the winter and the salt .
