September 19, 20169 yr Hi Guys, New to this forum, recently my old dear has given me her Yam TY250, although it has been standing for a couple of years and it wont kick over? I have a feeling simply changing the plug isn't going to cut it, although its the first job on the list. From the Reg I believe its an and#39;84 year if that helps with the model. Any pointers? Also does anyone have a manual PDF? Cheers!
September 19, 20169 yr Are you saying it won't turn over, or just won't start? If it just won't start you're going to need to clean the tank out and the carb. If it's siezed take the plug out and spray some WD40 down the hole, let it soak for a while, it may free up, otherwise you'll have to get the top end off and see what you've got inside.
