i have just bought a shreco cabestany 125 that as been bored out to 200cc   but am finding a bit to lively for me as i am73 years old        i have been riding trials since 1968   ;but have not rode in last 10 years  but i fancied having one last go ..can anyone tell me how   i can make it more docile  and easier for me to ride    i am more use to riding bultacos   .cottons . dots and greaves    can anyone help please...bob

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hi Bob, I had same issues same bike same age. I'll check my service records but mainly I retarded the ignition, swapped the flat slide carby for a Delorto. Then to make it look after me better I fitted a top dollar shock, TRP.

Get a Sherco 125.  It will do everything you want.

Try a slow throttle. If that doesn't do it, don't mess about: just dump it and get a standard 125.

The standard flywheel from a 250 should work on it and add a couple pounds. Call Splatshop
