February 15, 20179 yr Hi, I'm sure I've read this already somewhere so apologies if it is a repeat. Can you replace the crank seals in situ - i.e. without splitting the cases? I've seen mixed opinions on this......

February 15, 20179 yr Self tapping screw wound in gently then pulled out with vice grips. Don't wind it in too far or you risk damaging the bearing
