Hi every body I am Ernie a retired motorcyclist who refuses to grow old! I have just purchased a 1976 I think OSSA MAR 250 which I am going to put back to original con but I would like to sure of the year so that I can get a registration number to put it back on road, The Frame has  B-560337 stamped on it, And the motor has M-560337, Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture please.

Can't tie it down to a year by the engine/frame numbers from my knowledge but a picture may well allow an accurate id. It would be very unusual for the bike not to have been registered when new, it was normal practice in the mid 70s.

The lists that are available have big gaps in the data, but B560... is listed as 1976. like cleanorbust says, most were registered for the road. Get the frame HPI checked out by someone

in the motor trade. hopefully you can get the original number back. (the dvla aren't very helpful with frame numbers)
