Gearbox Breather?

Featured Replies

1969 MK3 Matador M26 engine.    Does the gearbox have a breather, if so where is it? John

Hi I only have the Bultaco trials if its the same it will be a tiny hole hat the top off the front sprocket to the L/H hope this helps.

Yes to the L/H if its the same has the trials bikes they some times get blocked just blow it out with a Air line or spoke a bit off wire throw make sure you don't drop the wire in there.

I recall the gearbox breather hole on the Sherpa's (199) been located directly above the kick start shaft and to the left of where the kickstart return spring is "anchored" to the crankcase.

Must try and get a photo when I'm in the garage tomorrow night and post it up.

My fault it is to the top L/H side off the K/Start shaft^_^
