Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I have recently purchased on ebay ( 1.85 x 21 Inch )  Front RIM with 40 holes. it looks bit more wider then i expected. looks more like rear wheel

should i use it or it will look awkward/unusual . ? what do you suggest ? i want to use it for RE Bullet or DOT trials bike

Thanks & Regards

Is it a steel one ? Looks like one. Alloy ones are all 1.60 rears are usually WM2 1.85 wide but some fit WM3 which is wider. Personally i wouldnt use it on the front as it just wont handle right.

Chuck a tire on it, and see what it does to the tread. It may close up the knobs and that would be bad for grip, I would think. If no difference it may be ok but will add weight to the front Vs a 1.60 rim.
