Clutch issue

Sorry if this is a stupid question but....

I've just had my clutch apart for the first time as it was "on" or "off" so if filed all the glue of the plates. 

When I've put it back together the first two pulls on the clutch fealt like there was nothing there and then it's gone completely solid. 

What have I done wrong?

I don't really know how a bike clutch works but it feels like a cyclinder at the end of its travel.

its a sherco 290 03 by the way.
