Hi,

I have a lazy kick start thst wont spring back. Assume itd the spring broken or dislodged.  I took cluch cover off but cant see much. Is this an engine out and apart job to inspect and change? Thanks

Depends on the year.

Its a 1976 model....

In 1976 they did a mid year change. You need to check your vin against a parts book.
