Just Got 2010 Sherco 290 ST and Need Some Help

Featured Replies

Hey guys Im new to this forum and this is my first trials bike. I live in Canada which doesn't have a very large following for trials and dont know anyone else that rides ethier. I just got this bike a week ago so dont have a ton of "seat" time yet but it seems to me like the exhaust muffler gets pretty hot. Is this normal for the shercos.

I have also discovered that I could possibly have a small leak from waterpump as their seems to be a small amount of coolant coming from the weep hole. How hard is it to change out this seal.

Thanks that definitely helps with the water pump problem, sherco makes it easy to follow.

On another note do you guys have any good drills to do with the engine off for practice. currently there is a off road vehicle ban right now due to extreme forest fire risk. Ive been practicing static balancing but would love some variety.

Haha I'm sure that would make it more challenging

Congratulations on picking up your first trials bike. Where in Canada are you located ..sounds like out West if there is a forest fire advisory.

Lots more info on the Sherco USA site under the documentation link. http://shercousa.com/?page_id=328

Good luck with the Sherco.
