It’s rumoured that Local Councils are going to capitalise on a new venture involving a small entry fee to use some of their better potholed and crumbling roads as Trials sections. Only road registered machines can take part and no stakes to mark sections to be used so cones instead. Obviously some Local Authorities will have more challenging courses to set out but depth of some potholes could see some drowned engines/competitors. Observers must wear dayglo raincoats and know how to operate a hand held traffic sign. Courses in competent operation to be provided in due course. Any competitor being fived due to baulking by other traffic will at the discretion of the clerk of the course be awarded a minus for that section.
