What does a Trials trim Tiger Cub weigh?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, new to pre 65, taking the leap.

Just agreed a purchase, but going to pick it up with a Dave Cooper bike rack that I take my Bultaco to events with.

They say maximum weight for the rack is 120kilos.

Anyone weighed a Cub recently.

Thanks.

Should be fine, I used DC rack with a BSA B25 MX bike without any problems (on the back of a escort van)

I would think a Cub would be around 90kgs, or less for a trick cub

If your Cub weighs over 120,kg, or anything like it, transporting it is the least of your worries.

Valid point, but I’d rather check than have it come adrift.

Without wishing to psss on your parade, do check the manufacturers recommended trailer nose load. You're going to be hanging bike+rack on there. Probably 100kg, maybe a touch more with fuel and mud. Although many people use DC racks, I suspect most of them are a little bit over the vehicle manufacturers approved weight, unless they drive a Land Rover.
