    Yes, possibly when cold. Then breakdown as heats up.

    The condenser is partly to prevent the points getting burnt, so might be worth changing them as well.

    Well they ain't getting hot cause I can't get it started..I put new spark plug, cleaned points, took carb off cleaned it and I can spray starting fluid in it and it don't even try to start any suggestions? Do u think the motor might be bad?

    Yes I think it does just by kicking it I don't have no way to tell exactly how much compresion but just by feel it does
