I have a question regarding spark arrestors for the current Sherco’s. I just picked up one from RYP and Discovered it’s held in place with 2 wood screws??? It’s a 2 piece design, an adapter screws to the plastic cap at the end of the silencer then you clamp the spark arrestor over that.

I believe Spanish fly makes one...need to do some more research.

When you say wood screw, do you mean a self-tapper?  If so it'll be fine, I've had stainless self-tappers in exhausts before and no problems have occured!

Spanish fly does make one. It is installed from the back of the end cap and is held in place with orings and a flange. It cannot be removed without takes the end cap off, so cleaning will be more of an issue then the RYP spark arrestor but the install is very clean, and no drilling holes in the end cap. Price is about 85$, I’m going to order one today.

You need to remove the end cap to change the exhaust packing regularly anyway
