Hi,

I have a 1958 Ariel HT5 in standard trim and with standard Hubs, the wheels were dismantled some time ago and the hub offset dimensions are lost. Does anyone have the hub offset dimensions ?

    I just happened upon this and have run into similar problems. What I do is mount the hub and use a straight edge off the hub and measure the rim and do simple math.I just try to center rim between forks as that is what the manufacturer does.

    Hopefully someone could confirm that the wheel is centred in the swingarm on original bikes, you may also want to check your chain run as its all very tight.
