November 29, 20205 yr I’m thinking of building a air cooled mono. I have an extra rebuildable Rotax 280 trials engine and exhaust. Just need a mono chassis. Any recommendations?
November 29, 20205 yr Old Beta TR34 chassis, or JCM's chassis would be a good starter. JCMs , you can't give away at the moment, if you can find one, so a good cheap option. If not what about a TY mono chassis, loads around and possibly easy modded!
November 29, 20205 yr Author I wonder how much different my engine mounts compared to a Aprillia Climber?

I’m from the States, I’ve never heard of JCM?
November 30, 20205 yr It's a French make, only for a couple of years, never really took off, and not overly popular. Nice looking and good spec, avoided now as too limited to get spares etc. https://www.classictrialsgb.co.uk/jcm https://www.pressreader.com/uk/classic-trial/20151201/281681138803178 dont use the Aprilia frame, that would just be a rebuild with another engine. Make a mono special, something individual and unique!
