Hi all, yes another newly to what appears to be an excellent website and forum to boot.
I am taking on a Sherpa T80 as a restore project, it was started before but ended badly by someone not known to me. the frame had been blasted and powder coated, but as I see it, still with the swinging arm in tact! The engine also looks like it’s been got at and so it goes on. So decided it’s a strip to the floor job for peace of mind, who knows what I’m gonna encounter. The thus end, I Wouk do like to think I can count on some sound advice if and when required. FYI I am not a rider anymore, at 74 I enjoy the challenge of taking the bikes apart and restoring them to factory stock. This one will be street legal when done. All for now and thanks for reading my opening statement ;0)
