I am currently in the process of restoring my Dad's old Bultaco Pursang Mk5 125cc and have stumbled across wiring problems. The project is for his 60th birthday and was left to rust in his shed for over 40 years! I'll add some pics below to show progress. The engine has been rebuilt recently and I was told that I was lucky to have a functioning Coil and Stator as he told me that the engine was sparking when it left his shop. As the frame has been powder coated, i made sure that the engine is grounding to the bike by removing the powder coat at the bolts. the problem i have got is 4 wires... yes 4 wires. I have 3 wires coming from the stator, Red, Green & Green. But 4 wires coming from the coil, Red, Green, Green & Black.
