December 12, 20214 yr Hi, I have taken these dimensions from a New 72.5mm Italkit Piston. The exhaust side is 65mm and the Inlet side is 61.5mm These are measured from the bottom of the Skirt to the outer edge of the piston crown. Hope these are of help to you. Old Geezer

I have never had any issues with remanufactured pistons as long as they are good quality. Italkit pistons are very good.
December 13, 20214 yr Hi - I've just measured a new Mahle (Bultaco OEM) piston. Dimensions the same as those quoted by Old Gezzer. I expect you know that standard bore of 198A is 71mm.?
February 14, 20224 yr Not sure if it is like the 350 piston, but I noticed there are no holes in the piston of the italkit, pretty sure it needs those to run right?
