October 12, 20223 yr I just picked up a rough 1974 TY80 Yamaha. The following would help 1. Gas Tank Capacity 2. No spark, I have compression. I disconnected the kill switch wire to the handlebars, but still no spark. Other wiring appears to be intact. I haven't gotten into the sidecase for the points as yet. However, did the stock TY80 have a main ignition switch other than the kill switch on the handlebars? Thank you.
