November 28, 20223 yr Does anyone have experience with downsizing wheels diameters? I'm considering putting smaller 16" wheels on a honda TLM 50 for my grandson. Most electric trials bikes do have a 16" variant and some other 50cc 2 stroke junior trials bikes had both 16" and full size wheel size options.
November 29, 20223 yr How tall and how old is your grandson? The taller wheels go over obstacles much easier. You are making the obstacles harder thinking you are doing him a favor. All the little bikes actually suck. I went through this with my son and he rode his first event at 2 1/2 years old and now my grandsons went to full size wheels and they are on the short side. It`s just amazing how much better they ride with full size wheels.
