Were experiancing a 30% power loss on our oset 20R across the board Id like to check the motor by powering it directly from the battery. How do we do that. There are 2 leads from the motor. Which one goes to the live which ones goes to the earth. Or if thats not how you do it, how do you check it is operating correctly. Fault. We upgraded to lithium batteries as the old lead ones had started to loose charge quickly and at that time noted the bikes top speed was around 16-17 mph and bike revved well . We upgraded to lithium and the speed increased to 19mph and low and high end torque also improved. However we pulled the bike out for a ride after putting it away for a few weeks and weve lost about 30% ooomphh everywhere. From torque, to hign end rpm to top speed. Its toping out at 13mph. Battery is kicking out a healthy 52/53V, We changed the speed dial as that wasnt really doing anything, however even with a new one it hasnt changed the way it behaves. Ive changed the throttle as some point to that. However same result. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
