Hi, We just bought an '04 Sherco 50.

The sticker on the side of the perimater frame says 2% mix. I happen to be running 40:1 and we have the usual black drool....

Anybody using a light mix? Any comments please???

You'll get the drool even if you lean it.

Get used to it.

Maybe try to get it over to the chain

I ran ours at 70/1 (my regular bike fuel) and never had a problem, but yes, I always had a little exhaust drool.

One of the next mod's was to put a small drain tube on the bottom with a small plug or valve on it.

we have a sherco 50 04 and that deposits black oil from the same place.

We don't need a drain plug cos the header/silencer gasket has gone west...
