Which Fanny Pack?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a Fanny Pack to carry a Nikon N80 35mm SLR camera with a 28-100 mm lens on the body and possibly a flash unit and just a minimum of other items. I want to be able to ride/walk comfortably with the pack and be able to access the camera quickly.

Any comments on what to buy or not to buy??

I would point out for those who don't know that in the US, a fanny pack is what is known here as a "bum bag"!!!

Yeah Andy I know that, so does that mean yanks would wear it 'round the front' and us brits wear it round the a*** then?? Fanny pack just sounds a bit odd :huh:

I use a lowepro camera case and the belt buckle straps around my bar pad. Fine for going accross fields but no good over any bumps. it carrys spare AA batterys camera (

I have noticed that in the US when the fanny pack is worn in the front it is refered to a holster because there is usually a pistol in there.

Fanny=a***=bum

Derriere, for Scorpa riders.
