Hi all . My sons bike has all of a sudden backfired a few time then stopped . now we have no spark . searched on here and found some test data which i have done to find no readings between ground (white wire and the green wire 

 

I have readings between white and red

 

but nothing between white and green or red and green .  So I suspect the stator has failed .

 

Can these still be repaired or can anyone point me in the direction of a replacement .

Simple answer is yes, stators can be rewound, very often by a local business that specializes in repairs to stators and starter motors.

Try splatshop I had an exchange one from them a few years ago

Try Bradford ignitions, they’re down in Cornwall but do postal service. Sometimes have them stock & sometimes you have to send your own for rewinding. I had one from there for my evo a few years back, great service & price. You might find them on that bay place too !
