Wtc Since 2004

Featured Replies

Whats the craic with the world championship? Most of them are now man made sections what ever happened to the good wtc were it was a 2 day event and of mainly natural sections apart from the 15th. Is there really any point in going all over the world to ride man made sections that could easily be set up in Spain? The championship has gone downhill so much since 2004 i think. From reading Lampkins and Dabill's

trial report from Italy they think it wasnt a good trial either.

i think it is more to do with the supporters and promoting the sport than anything that there is man made sections around so much and not to do with the riders choice or terrain, as with you i wish that the good old fashioned natural terrain sections would be put back into action they are alot better than the man made sections and it gives the trial more of a choice of things to ride on not just rocks

Spain - natural

Portugal - Natural

USA - Natural (I think)

France - mainly man made to be as natural as possible

Italy - Natural

check your facts?

Spain portugal France and Italy all had Euro champs on Saturday

Doug had a bad ride and Dabill was a good 8th.
