  5. A few questions about the way things stand at the moment regarding the EU. The wife is from the Rep of Ireland and holds an EU passport . I myself hold a British passport. Am I able to pass through the EU citizens passport border control with the wife or would I have to join the NON EU queue? Do the visa requirements for longer stays in the EU still apply to me as a British passport holder? I have Googled for answers but there is nothing concrete and it seems to be for people entering the UK not the other way. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance for any replies. Rocksteady.

We snowboard a lot in Avoriaz. But this is a slightly different use of the resort. If you know Avoriaz then you’ll know the cliff that drops down below the village… And nice to see the bike survived!

One of the first bikes I learnt to ride (after a Raleigh Runabout which probably doesn’t count) was a Honda Cub. I’ve got a Honda Monkey in the fleet but loving the UK custom scene around Honda Cubs. Def my next project - so cool - North Cornwall today...

Watched tv programme about Captain Tom last night Thursday and if I can make it to his age and be as mentally able etc I will be well pleased. What a man and really into motorcycles big time. Plenty of film showing old trials back in the 30’s with Scotts and flat tankers being ridden forcefully through mud, rivers and up hills. To think that this gentleman managed to raise millions for the NHS by shear determination in pushing himself to walk a great distance all be it in his garden (daughters garden) whilst in great pain from a damaged hip! When women were mentioned you could detect that glint in his eyes...a bit of a lad me thinks. Brilliant.

I have been building these during the pandemic shut down. I,m not very good at it yet seeing that it,s been 40-45 years since I last built models other than a couple a few years ago. Just want to acknowledge the few remaining WWII vets and the great sacrifices made by all during the war. God bless them all and the ones who did not survive. I think it is important to remember how important our allies are no matter what enemy we are facing.

I have a Cotton 250cc Trials bike 1966 and the engine is currently undergoing a rebuild. It was a long time ago the Villiers 250cc 37A engine came out, but I remember there was a definite problem with removing the rear engine fixing bolt. So when it comes to re-installing, what is going to be the best way to get the engine in and feed the 65mm rear securing bolt into place without taking off an outer casing? Can it be done? Is there a special method, such as a hole in the casing to feed the bolt through or has the right hand cover got to come off before putting the engine back in place? Can anyone advise on best course of action as I would rather get engine back …

Recently announced on air, Radio 2’s Chris Evans is to leave the BBC’s morning radio show. I for one am absolutely amazed he’s been allowed to stay so long! Yes he has made lots of money for good causes, but then with a reasonable sized audience pretty much any presenter could arrange similar fund raising events. When he first started on R2 I thought he was doing a reasonable job, but as time moves on he seemed to me to rapidly degenerate into a DJ who persistently talks over the music, interrupts quests when they are speaking and does the same to his colleagues on air. He now reminds me of the know it all DJ in the Robin Williams film ‘Good morning Vietnam’ dont know the…
