Heard on the news this evening regarding members of H.M Forces that visit schools to talk to the children should STOP! as they think this is a recruiting campaign Are they going to stop the Policeman, Fireman or any other profession visiting schools as this to might be considerd a recruiting campaign................ Hard as it may seem, but being a member of H.M Forces is a JOB pitty the ''Do Gooders'' can't see this, but they would be the first to cry for help if a situation arises. Rant Over

Bit off topic but... Good to see the Russians managed to slip in an off road bike to carry the Olympic torch between space stations and seabeds. This blurry screen capture is from the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Bit worrying that the background looks a bit like Chernobyl, but I suppose there aren't many noise or pollution issues there.

Like a Tiger A couple was on their honeymoon, lying in bed, about ready to consummate their marriage, when the new bride says to the husband, "I have a confession to make, I'm not a virgin." "What are you doing?" asks the wife. The husband says, "I'm hungry, I …

I am sure I bring this up every year at this time. Andy originally posted this a few years back and it is well worth looking at! Google the artist, Terry Kelly and his song called, A pittance of Time. If you can, check out his website, which also gives a true account of why Terry wrote this song in honor of our veterans. Then listen to the song and watch the video on Youtube. Lest we forget!

'Ten pence,' says the pharmacist. The Scot folds the condom into the silk square and the cotton bandanna, places it in his sporran and marches out the door of the pharmacy, kilt swinging. A moment or two later the pharma…
