What's the trials scene like there? Many clubs / trials? What about getting hold of new bikes? Easy enough?

Had some pretty grim news. Hoping for some positive feedback... Not only do they want to cut me up,they also insist on selling the trials bike and replacing it with a pushie.....may as well just f#@$%*g die. Is there anyone out there who is still riding or knows of anyone regularly still competing in trials after hip replacement.

Hi, just wondered if anyone has had any problems with Diadora Stone 3 boots? These were recommended to me by a well known motor cycle shop in Darlington and to my disappointment within 15 minutes of putting them on the stitching had started to come away. I returned them to the shop and when they asked me what I wanted to do and I said I would like a replacement pair or my money back, they said they would speak to the local rep and UK importer for Diadora. It took five weeks and several phone calls later before I had a call to say my boots had been repaired (not replaced). Upon returning home and looking forward to a day out on the bike, I got my kit ready and cleane…

One of my friends bought around a barrel (well the liner) from a 2000 Honda XR400 tonight to see what I thought. The bike has been burning a lot of oil recently and he decided to change the valve guide seals and piston rings. However, upon checking the barrel there are some very minor marks. Certianly NOT scoring, more like 'water' marks for want of a better description. I was wondering if it was worth having the barrel honed or if the new rings would possibly clean/polish out the very faint marks? Any advice welcome.

Looking to make contact with readers who are located in Germany. Think I have seen a handful on here. My daughter is currently living there, and my brother in law is riding more, and looking for others to link with in the Trials community in Germany. Anyway, post here if you would or e-mail me at trialsalan AT bellsouth dot net

Thinking about moving up a class and the thought came to me that maybe someone online makes custom graphics so I don't have to try and cobble something together myself. I'd like something with my class and possibly last name on it, anyone online offer anything like that? Tnx

I bought a ccm 644 a couple of months ago so I could nip out and ride off road when I haven't got enough time to get the trials bike out ( and lack of space to practice) but I've been finding it frustrating, it's bloody heavy even though its relatively light for a trail bike, it doesn't lift the front ( guys on the ccm forum have confirmed they're very front end heavy) so if i blip it, it just spins up. Generally I find its not that much fun, I'm hanging on guiding it rather than riding it. Reason I bought a big bike was I wanted something to greenlane on but could do a bit of road work as well, but think it might be the wrong thing and maybe I should just go to a road …

Maths not being my strong point, I've been looking at those fancy pre-mix containers like the Accu-Mix. Problem being that the Accu-Mix apparently only goes to 50:1 when the Montesa manual states 80:1 (or maybe 70:1). Has anyone got round this problem or bought a similar product?

If so, could any kind soul send me or post a photos of the stickers (or stamps) so I can check with US customs if i can import or not. Thank you!

I'm taking a trip over to Fishguard next week and wondered if there's anything local happening on the trials scene. I've been threatened with certain death from my other half about taking my bike so it will be in the watching capacity only. Cheers.

Ello everyone. I recently had a crack on someones bike that had these Apico Flexi Levers... http://www.motomerlin.org.uk/ekmps/shops/motomerlin1/images/apico-flexi-lever-ajp-trials-pair--3687-p.jpg I've gone past the point of breaking levers all the time and haven't broken one in over a year however they felt nice and had good adjustment so thought I'd treat myself. Upon fitting them though I've found that the brake lever will flex backwards however because the clutch adjuster screw on the clutch lever is in the top slot, it prevents the lever from flexing due to the adjuster screw. I keep thinking I must be missing something as the whole point of them is to fl…

Could anyone take a measurement from a pair of Apico trials footrests please? I want to know what size bracket they fit into? So ideally in the internal width of the bracket and if possible the bolt hole centre the inside back of the bracket? Stephen
