Just want to say Hi and say that you got a very nice site here. Lots of good information and very helpful people. Well a little about my self, I have been riding dirt bikes all of my life, this started when two of my friends got these trials bike and took me along, well as you can see here I am. One thing for sure I do like it. I am looking forward to this new style of riding.

Hi all, I have just brought my first trials bike and moved to live in the french alps. It has great terain to play on but my bike has bad clutch drag, which does not inspire confidence for a beginner. I have had the whole clutch assembly changed and the master cylinder by the local gasgas dealer. Has anyone got any advice what the next thing to try is?

Hello everybody. I am nearly 39 years old and really have the urge to start riding trials again. As a young teenage rider I first rode a clapped out Suzuki Beamish 250 with a hole in the cylinder head! I then owned a new Yamaha TY250 twin shock and later a Fantic 240. I rode most weekends and some weekdays in West Yorkshire, England. The 'Flappits' and 'Hawkstone Quarry' were my home practice grounds. I competed in several observed trilas, but did not do too well! My dad also rode and he bought a works Fantic 301 from John Lampkin (which he rode in a world round or SSDT) who lived in Silsden, near to our home. Hello, Im new to trials bike riding....have a GasGas pro 300

Just saying hello. Just bought my first trials bike as got the bug after having a few goes on some mates bikes. Ended up getting a Bultaco Sherco bike but i am looking for a bit of advice as im not 100% on the age of the bike, is there a way of telling the age off the vin number on the frame or is it down to doing a bit more research? Any info would be great if you could help. Hoping to get out on the bike this weekend to see how i get on finally on my own bike Cheers Ian

Well, its been a blast this time but all good things come to an end, just sold up and moving onto other things, that's the 3rd time! Thanks to all the friends I made along the way, I'm sure I will look in at one or two trials through the year, might even observe, mind you there just will be some dodgy 5's ! Cheers Paul

Hi, new member from near Winchester, UK. Rode Trials for 5 years from age 11 then went onto Grasstrack, Speedway and MotoX. Now aged 60 and been racing flat track for a few years and loving it. Just considering getting an Electric Motion (a cheap one!) so I can get more bike time locally and maybe even the odd trial.

Hi all I'm new to trials and not planning to compete just learning how to have fun doing it. I've ridden trails and flat-track for years so this is just another excuse for buying another type of bike. I purchased a TY350 to get me started. She needs a bit of work but seems to run fine.

Always wanted to ride trials, but never have. My hobby is old motorcycle restoration, typically British. Past years raced vintage MX on a 1967 Husqvarna 360, stopped in 2005. Now wanting to ride a 72 Sherpa T model 92. recently purchased a Sherpa Bultaco in progress, due finished by early 24. I am 76" tall at 175 lbs and I have my first helmet from 1969 (no foam/all failed). I am concerned about being too tall for this sport on a vintage Sherpa. Also concerned about going back to kick start.

Hi everyone back into biking after 20 years, wanted to get back for many years but now have time and money. Bought a 198a (250 about 1979/80) need to know if anyone can help with details of colour and I need an electronic user manual can anyone help! Anyway it runs has a red tank but blue side panels and blue frame. Looking at pictures it should have a black engine but this one is silver and black top end? I'm kinda well known in the BMX community as a total tard and I'm sure that will show here. I need some help with a project I have. I have a Honda TLR200 that I tricked out a little. I'm looking for the smallest size rear sprocket I can find. I thought I found a 42 tooth on e bay last night but today I can't find it! I would really like to find something smaller like maybe a 32, 34 or 36. Also, has anyone bumped up the front sprocket to a 14 tooth? With the cover, it doesen't look like there is much room? I have just bought a 2006 Gas Gas 250 Pro for messing about on over the winter and hopefully get into some club trails next year once I am back up to speed. I used to have a GAS Gas 320 way back in 2001 but was a bit to powerful for me at the time and I wiped myself out and have not been near one since. Anyway here is a pick of the bike.
